10/90 rule for successful weight loss

Its 10% knowing the right facts and 90% having the right state of mind. Even the best diet in the world will ultimately fall short without the ability to look deeply within, set goals consistent wih our greatest good and live consciously. David Ludwig MD
I have had plenty of clients start out with good intentions of coming on a regular basis and working hard while they are in session, but if they decided to do it because of a good deal or a friend wanted them to join because they needed the motivation it will not last long.
How many times have you joined a gym only to pay them monthly long after you stopped going or sometimes you never even stepped foot into the gym except to join.
You have to dig deep find your why and figure out what you are willing to do to reach your goals and stop fooling yourself into the next quick fix or fad diet.

Older personal trainers in demand.

Demand has accelerated for personal trainers who can relate to older adults in the gym. I can remember when I finished my certification at National Personal Training Institute at the age of 46, I couldn't get into some of the clubs, yet they were taking the younger less experienced trainers, knowing that a majority of their clientele were older adults that were most likely intimidated by the younger generation.

It,s about time we cater to every age population. According to IDEA Health & Fitness Association, more than 41% of participants were between 45-64 years old, up from 35%.

On a side note, not all trainers are certified, so check qualifications and even go as far asking for references. You are paying money to someone that is in charge of improving your health.
