Creating your sacred space.

Are you so focused on the needs of other people that you ignore your own needs? do you want to nurture yourself by quieting down and/or practicing mind-body activities but never seem to havee the time or location to do so? By allocating an area in your home or yard as a sacred space, you can give yourself a place for quiet times alone.

Create your space with these things in mind; a comfortable place where you can unwind, meditate if needed, where you won't do other things meaning, don't put it in your home office if you just start doing work instead.

I love outdoors and i sectioned off a space on the side yard of the house so i can just go out there and read or sit and enjoy nature. If you have an indoor space you could include candles, pillow, a fountain for the sound of water flowing, rocks, plant etc, whatever calms you down will work.

All people have an internal sacred space within themselves and an external space helps you recharge and ground yourself again.

Find your space and enjoy.
